Pricing Policies

Our pricing is pretty straight forward. As of now March 2024, our drop in practices are $20 for the hour. Payment can be made in cash, check, or Venmo.

Pricing for private lessons and semi private lessons is higher but we still strive for reasonable
. Reach out to Tobin for a pricing structure and a plan for scheduling.

Scrimmage play whether it is us vs us, against alumni, or a guest club is a $20 fee the same as group practice.

Tournament pricing is different from tournament to tournament. The fee is based on the number of players we have coming total not for each team  individually. We often travel with one team and in that case the fee structure is based on the number of players. If we take two teams the fee is based on the total combined.

**BIG THING** if a player cancels too close to a tournament or showcase and their slot cannot be filled the pre-paid fee cannot be refunded, as we structured the price based on the number of athletes.

College recruiting help, college prep on field sessions, and college prep workout sessions do have a similar rate hourly to private lessons. Reach out to Tobin directly to go over needs, scheduling, and cost.

It is important to us at Prime that no child that simply cannot afford to play, will never be turned away as long as they come with a smile and try. Sports can be expensive, and we would hate for someone to feel left out, limited, or excluded from the chance over a few dollars. This is a private conversation to have with Coach Tobin and she will absolutely have a way to help.

Private Lessons

Prime offers individuals lessons and small group sessions to hone in on individuals' skills and play. The focus of these sessions can be catered to the specific wants and needs of each developing student athlete, or even used as a way to help new players get a feel for the sport. All types of players are welcome, including field players, goalies and those who want to try every position. We are lucky to have coaches with a varied skilled set allowing us to cater practices based on the individual athletes needs.

Practice

Practice is on an individual pay-to-play basis. Some athletes pay for multiple sessions at once, others pay one at a time, and those less financially stable get assistance as needed. We are volunteer run and passionate about the sport, so we try to keep the sport accessible and financial assistant is kept discrete.

Stick Practice

No equipment is necessary for these practices, just a player and a stick. These focus on stick work, foot work, and focus on individual skills. This is run on the same pay-to-play basis as normal practice.

Scrimmage and game play

We are lucky to have formed friendships with other local clubs and we enjoy scrimmage and fun game play days with them in various locations. Our alumni players are always welcome. We have had and continue working to arrange scrimmages involving our alumni from various places over the last two decades.

Tournaments

Tournament season is from roughly January to August. During this time we attend various college hosted tournaments as well as recruiting showcases. Many of these opportunities are open to the entire program, but there are a select few that are invitation only.

We also attend some of the larger tournaments as individual players. Many of the larger, travel tournaments and showcases can be a large financial burden as an entire team. If these types of events interest a player Coach Tobin will help you navigate the individual player process, we just ask that these players be registered as a member of Prime Field Hockey. This registration is through USA Field Hockey. The majority of those events Coach Tobin attends so our athlete has the support and familiarity of a coach they are comfortable with and are set up for a successful event.

Recruiting and College Prep

Great, you've decided you want to continue to play past the end of high school. There are many options and types of ways to stay involved in our sport and we like to help people find which is the right path for them and their situation. Trying to get seen and possibly recruited by a collegiate program can be daunting on your own. Coach Tobin has helped quite a few further their field hockey journey into college. She does offer private recruiting information meetings that do require homework. Tobin will also help set up getting you some skills film, and work with the athlete and parents to ensure what game footage works best.
